1.2m Concrete Sleepers
If you’re looking to build a retaining wall that will last a lifetime and not worry about all the problems associated with traditional timber-built retaining walls, look no further than our most affordable 1.2m concrete sleepers (1190mm actual back length and 1170mm front length). These 1.2m long concrete sleepers are generally fairly light compared to the other longer sleepers, which makes it easier to carry them by two people (only 48 kgs for the 80mm width sleeper).
They are generally used for a variety of smaller retaining applications such as garden edging, walkways and steps, under fence plinths for colorbond fencing, to the very tall demanding retaining wall, as these sleepers can retain up to 4.4m of soil considering a 5Kpa Surcharge (download technical engineering document for accurate info).

The 1.2m length concrete sleepers is manufactured only in our smooth finish ‘The Marina‘ range with two colour variations, the grey/plain colour and the charcoal/graphite colour.
The 80mm width sleeper is a very friendly D-I-Y option and can generally be transported by lite utility vehicles by pickup from our Officer yard.
These sleepers are also manufactured in 100mm and 120mm widths for more heavy applications.
