Sandstone/Yellow Concrete Sleepers
The natural colour of sandstone or yellow-toned concrete can complement the warm and earthy tones in Australian landscapes. It can create a visually pleasing and harmonious look that fits well with the natural surroundings. They look exceptionally well on a retaining wall with red mulch and greenery garden edging, or they could even feature well as an under-fence plinth for Surfmist® or Paperbark® COLORBOND® steel fence.

You can order sandstone concrete sleepers in either a stacked stone pattern finish, a realistic woodgrain finish (mimics a traditional timber sleeper yet lasts for 50+ years), or a contemporary block-face finish. Lengths range from 1.8m to 2.4m and can have a maximum retained height of up to 5m. Although the colours and hues of the sandstone concrete sleeper may vary slightly across different concrete sleeper manufacturers across Australia, their names are pretty similar, and they can sometimes be referred to as limestone concrete sleepers.
